Kim is an actress who directs, produces and teaches. She is known for her eclectic range of characters. Acting credits include: Rashomon [Roger Furmans' New Heritage Theatre]; PECONG [TWAS]; Risen From The Dough [EST]; Bonfire Night [the cell]; Blues In A Broken Tongue [NEC]; Moon On A Rainbow Shawl [NFT/CART]; The Balmyard [NFT]; For Colored Girls….[National Tour]; Unveiling of Abigail [Torino, Italy]; Miss Ann Don't Cry No More [BTA] and Intellectuals & The Bow Wow Club [The WorkShop]. Film & TV Credits include Alma's Rainbow and Divorce Court. Kim has been nominated for four AUDELCO Awards and won for Lead Actress for Don't Explain w Ron Cephas Jones [Nuyorican Poets’ Café].
As a producer, Kim presented over 200 actors and musicians in her Eclectic Tuesday Nites for Perk's Supper Club [3 yrs]; ANOTHER SIDE OF A KING: Films and Literature of Woodie King, Jr.[ART NY AWARD '09]; WE IN HARLEM, BABY! A summer performance & visual arts series [3 yrs]; Associate Producer for National Black Touring Circuit, Inc. [4 yrs] and POTPOURRI! World Women Works; a festival of staged readings of new works by international women playwrights [4 yrs]. As Artistic Director for OUTTA CONTROL - Raw Comedy Cabaret, she had the opportunity to write, direct and present satirical sketches written by a multicultural company of 10 writers and 15 actors [2 yrs].
